The Clips has always had talent but can't seem to put it all together for some reason. Their offense is solid, but they need that perimeter defender who can clamp down on the other team's best perimeter player. I like the addition of Rasual Butler and Craig Smith.

Butler is a pure-shooter who has enough athletic ability to finish at the rim, but he's never been a defender. He just doesn't have the mentality to be expected to improve in that department. Smith is probably the only new addition that's produced the most significant contribution to the Clippers. I like how he uses his body so well for rebounds. He certainly gives the Lakers problems. If he manages to defend without fouling too much and develops that mid-range jumper. I don't how he can't crack the starting lineup in the future.
